So say the jury members Mr. David Sassoli, President of the European Parliament, Mr. Ambroise Fayolle, Vice-President at the European Investment Bank and Ms. Luciana Miu, Research Postgraduate at the Imperial College of London.
The winners were announced yesterday at the European Green week celebration and LIFE DINALP BEAR won the “Nature” category.
The LIFE Awards 2020, now in their 14th year, recognise the most innovative, inspirational and effective LIFE projects in the following categories: environment, nature protection and climate action. We congratulate to the other fellow winners and all the nominees.
This Award means a lot to us; it is another confirmation of the good and fruitful work of LIFE DINALP BEAR project and that it contributed to a better co-existence of humans and bears in the Alps and the Dinaric Mountains.
You can chat today with project coordinator Mr. Rok Černe from Slovenia Forest Service on LIFE virtual stand at EU Green week conference (Exhibition hall 1, LIFE stand).
