Dina Pivka Centre on Large Carnivores in Dinaric Mountains, Slovenia has expanded their offer for visitors this year, acquiring three new interactive stations to raise awareness about coexistence, effective measures for increasing tolerance and the importance of animals for the environment. Through analogue and digital interaction, visitors are educated in a fun way about the coexistence between humans and large carnivores.
The Dina Pivka Centre disseminates information on the importance of conservation of large carnivores, their biology and role in the ecosystem, and promotes the importance of coexistence between large carnivores and humans in an interesting, informative and interactive way. The Centre aims to educate visitors of different generations, to challenge negative stereotypes and to showcase successful coexistence stories.
