Every year, the European Commission organizes the EU Green Week, the largest environmental event. This year, the EU Green Week is dedicated to nature and biodiversity.

In the light of the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030, the event will bring together representatives of public and scientific institutions, decision-makers, non-governmental organizations, companies and the media so as to reposition us as a society in our role for new beginnings of man, nature, sustainable resource use and economic recovery. You can view the full conference program here or print it at this link.

This year, the entire event will take place virtually as an online conference, from 19th to 22nd October 2020. Participation is free, but prior registration is required here: https://www.ubivent.com/register/11/EUGreenWeek2020.

During the EU Green Week, on 21st October the winner of the LIFE AWARDS 2020 will be announced. 15 projects have been nominated in three categories: nature protection, environment and climate action. In addition, the winner of the LIFE Citizens’ Prize, based on public votes, will also be announced. If you have not yet voted, we invite you to vote for LIFE DINALP BEAR at this link.

We invite you to register to the virtual event and attend, among others, also the presentations of nominated projects and the award ceremony.
