On 22^th and 23^th of August 2016, we held 2 lectures (Kočevje, Mašun) for Slovenian damage inspectors and bear intervention group members, where we informed them about the progress of the ongoing project activities. One of the emphases of the lectures was also presentation of the Guidebook to Human-Carnivore Conflict, written by dr. Seth M. Wilson. Damage inspectors were also educated about the correct procedures of genetic sampling on damage cases. More than 80 participants attended the lectures.
