From 16th to 18th April 2018, an international workshop entitled “Communication in large carnivore conservation and management” was organized in the frame of our project and LIFE Lynx project. Experts and practitioners of communication activities exchanged knowledge, experiences and made suggestions for improvements or solutions to the challenges of communicating with the key stakeholders. The participants came from European and American countries that presently coexist with large carnivore populations or are actively involved in conservation practices. The last day of a three-day event was dedicated to identification of the main challenges and opportunities in communicating large carnivore conservation. We also developed scenarios in communicating with different public. A report on workshop participants’ presentations, discussions and agreements will be prepared and published soon. Don’t miss it on our web page! 🙂
