On Tuesday, 23^rd May we conducted a workshop about bears in the Elementary school Grabrik in Karlovac and on Thursday, 25^th May another one in Elementary school Ivan Goran Kovačić at Severin na Kupi, in Croatia. Over 70 pupils participated in the workshops and learnt about bear anatomy and ecology, about bear behavior, as well as about methods of preventing conflict between bear and people. The workshops roused great interest among pupils and they actively participated. Pupils also took part in practical part of the workshop: making models of bear paws, calculating bear population abundance, and similar.
