Yesterday, the Biology department of Faculty of Natural sciences and mathematics (University of Maribor) hosted members of our project team. Students participated in a lecture about the importance of human dimensions in large carnivore conservation. LIFE DINALP BEAR, SloWolf and LIFE WOLFALPS projects were presented as examples of stakeholder involvement in management planning process. Importance of successful communication strategy and education were also presented. In order to demonstrate a stakeholder discussions, Conservation biology class students took part in a PlayDecide role playing game recently developed within our project. They were very successful in reaching a consensus.
