Action plan for the implementation of the mitigation measures for reducing road mortality of brown bear in Slovenia, which was done within action A.4, is now available online. In action plan are presented selected road section along the main road Ljubljana – Kočevje, the railway Postojna – Pivka and Ljubljana – Postojna, and highway Ljubljana – Postojna. Selected sections will be protected against road-crossings by big game (with emphasis on brown bear) by acoustic deterrents (road and railway sections) and electric fence (highway).
