The second video surveillance to monitor the presence and behaviour of bears and other wildlife in the vicinity of the state roads in Slovenije has started in March 2016 and will last until the end of the year. Again, three camera traps were installed on two sections of the main road Ljubljana – Kočevje. The surveillance proved that the area is interesting for bears and also large ungulates, which cross the road very intensively at both selected sections. Until now we managed to get on the picture bears, wolf, red deer, roe deer, wild boar, foxes, badgers, hares and martens.
